Bethel Lutheran School Summer Fun program is a day camp for
children from age 3 through 4th grade. Camp is 5 two-week themed
sessions. Each session includes theme-based activities, field trips,
tutoring, mini-sports camp and swimming. Please contact the school

Race to Erase social injustice! Run with a purpose at this 5 k
run / 1 mile walk at Queeny Park on July 5. Registration begins at
8:00am , race starts at 9:00am. This is a great family event with
prize categories for children, women and men. $15 registration fee
before June 1, $20 after June 1. Go to

Proceeds benefit World Servants, a non-profit mission organization and
their partnership with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as together they
will travel to Kenya in July 2008 to build an orphanage for children
affected by AIDS.
Summer Camp: I Can Build It,
Yes, I Can

Join us for a week of construction fun. We will build and
construct using boxes and everyday household supplies. We will build a
house, a spaceship and possibly a pirate ship to be used at the next
session of camp. As we build our special projects we must take time out
for play. Wednesdays are our water days when we swim, run through
various sprinklers and play with water balloons.

Faith's own Jubilant Jazz and company will share an evening of
good old fashion Christian fellowship. We will have solos, instrumentals
and sing-alongs. Come out for the fun and fellowship. After the concert,
we will continue in fellowship with an ice cream social.

Summer Camp: Make Believe
July 28 - August 1

Let your imagination run wild. Who do you want to be - a
princess or a pirate? Live in a castle or sail the seven seas in your
own pirate ship. Be careful or you may have to walk the plank. Enjoy
bible stories, crafts, games, bounce pit, water fun on Wednesdays and
play time with children your own age.

Zion Lutheran Church and School hosts a Summer Concert on
Sunday, Aug. 3, beginning at 6:00p.m. in the sanctuary. The concert
features a variety of Christian contemporary music and sacred selections
performed by Zion's Summer Choir and other musicians and singers.
Refreshments are available after the concert. A freewill offering, after
covering concert expenses, will be donated to Zion's 150th Anniversary
Committee. The church celebrates its 150th year in 2009.

Cool Kids for Christ Activity
