Faith's own Jubilant Jazz and company will share an evening of
good old fashion Christian fellowship. We will have solos, instrumentals
and sing-alongs. Come out for the fun and fellowship. After the concert,
we will continue in fellowship with an ice cream social.

Strikepoint Handbell Ensemble
Concert
July 28

Strikepoint, one of the world’s top handbell ensembles, will
perform at 7:30pm on Monday, July 28 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
(2030 Union Rd.) in St. Louis. There is no admission charge, but a
free-will offering will be taken. This concert is part of Strikepoint's
annual summer tour, which this year takes the group to Orlando, FL, to
attend the 13th International Handbell Symposium.
Strikepoint is noted
for capturing the enthusiasm of audiences with its dynamic style and
accessible music. Concerts are designed to delight and stir listeners
whether they know all or nothing about handbells. Among the comments
frequently heard after programs, a favorite is, “If we’d known it was
going to be like this, we would have made all our friends come.”

Zion Lutheran Church and School hosts a Summer Concert on
Sunday, Aug. 3, beginning at 6:00p.m. in the sanctuary. The concert
features a variety of Christian contemporary music and sacred selections
performed by Zion's Summer Choir and other musicians and singers.
Refreshments are available after the concert. A freewill offering, after
covering concert expenses, will be donated to Zion's 150th Anniversary
Committee. The church celebrates its 150th year in 2009.
